BlueCielo Kronodoc 2012 Quick Start | BlueCielo ECM Solutions |
The maximum file name length is 200 characters, including the extension.
The file names may include the following characters:
Character Set | Supported Characters |
---|---|
Basic characters |
0123456789 ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz (National character sets supported) |
Special characters |
ÀÁÂÃÄÅÆÇÈÉÊËÌÍÎÏÐÑÒÓÔÕÖØÙÚÛÜÝÞß àáâãäåæçèéêëìíîïðñòóôõöøùúûüýþÿ (National character sets supported) |
Special symbols |
Space ( ) Ampersand (&) Period (.) Semicolon (;) Underscore ( _ ) Hyphen (-) Plus (+) Tilde (~) Hash (#) Dollar ($) Parenthesis ( ( ) and ( ) ) Note Only the preceding list is supported |
The file extension may contain a-z, 0-9, tilde, hyphen, underscore, dollar, and hash.
If a file is renamed (for example, when uploading it to Kronodoc), specifying the file extension is necessary only when the new file name includes one or more periods or when the original file name contains unsupported characters (for example, the percent character %). This prevents Kronodoc from misinterpreting the full file name. If you want to make absolutely sure that the file extension is correct every time you type a file name, it is a good idea to also type the file extension.
Note The preceding limitations apply to files that reside on the Kronodoc server. Files downloaded to computers running Microsoft Windows must adhere to the character limitations of the operating system. For more information consult the operating system documentation.
